ZEUS - Traffic Generator

The ZEUS Traffic Generator is used to generate a single MIL-STD Dual Redundant 1553 data stream (on supported hardware - USB 1553).

Traffic data is defined by way of a simple script interface which allows you to construct any (including illegal) 1553 word arrangements so that you are able to test your 1553 equipment when erroneous data occurs.

Very fine control of the actual 1553 wave form is also permitted down to multiples of nanoseconds, thus simulating illegal 1553 word wave forms allowing you test the boundaries of your 1553 decoder.

Here are some of the main features:

  • Generates legal & illegal MIL-STD Dual Redundant 1553.

  • Graphical representation of data stream.

  • Graphical alteration of 1553 word wave forms.

  • Compatible with ZEUS 1553 transmit cycles.

  • Provides commands to include gaps, markers, bus switching, cycle definitions and individual bit setting within the data stream.

  • Scripts are saved as simple text files (comments are permitted).

  • Command line interface provided.
