ZEUS New Quick Start Guide!

The ZEUS for Windows software is a companion to the SOAR range of USB data bus analysers, providing an 'out of the box' solution to monitoring, stimulating and logging a variety of avionics data bus types.

ZEUS
  • Comprehensive Engineering Units conversions, with full user control.
  • Simultaneous data monitoring (on display) and recording.
  • Supports ARINC 429/573/717/561/575 and MIL-SID 1553
  • On-screen facility to search inputs for active Label/SDI and RT/SA combinations.
  • Unlimited user defined graphic display pages (and tabular form).
  • Run time control of output information at Data Item level.
  • Off-line data export facilities. Open, XML, definition file formats.
  • High & Low Level API interface.

Currently on its third major revision (see What's New), the ZEUS software provides a robust, easy to use solution to all your testing needs. No technical or programming skills are necessary to get your data bus test plans into action, monitoring your data bus activities in user defined engineering units or raw format. The application provides the user with all the tools necessary to successfully monitor, analyse, log and interact with the most popular types of avionic data buses (ARINC 429/573/717/561/575 and MIL-SID 1553).

The Zeus application allows the user to create ZEUS 'packages' which contain information about your data bus and the configuration of your interface device. Label/SDI or RT/SA definitions are defined and documented, along with numerous supported data conversions to make your data as user friendly as possible. Transmit cycles for ARINC 429 Tx channels and MIL-STD 1553 Bus Controllers and RT Emulators are also defined. In addition, the package file holds all your display information on how you would like to present your data bus and its contents to the user.

A comprehensive data bus search facility is also provided which can be used to interrogate what's happening on your databus without any setup. The GUI add-in allows you to see at a glance what data is flowing around you databus, allowing you to drill down into the areas that are of interest to you.
