Enhanced Warranty, USB Connected Databus Test Modules

We are pleased to announce that from the start of 2012 all Airflair's USB connected Databus Test Modules will be covered by a 36 month Return to Manufacturer Warranty. This covers all failures of workmanship or materials for a full three years from the data at which the product was first shipped.

There are some simple (and we believe quite reasonable) conditions for this warranty, as follows:

• The equipment is returned to us DDU Incoterms 2000, with a prior notification of its shipping and a copy of the waybill or some other tracking number which shows that it began its return journey within 36 months of the date it was originally despatched from Airflair.
• The warranty is for failure in normal use, in normal conditions – ie it excludes abuse. If you have inadvertently applied 115v/400Hz to an ARINC 429 input, or someone has driven a Tugmaster over your unit while moving an aircraft, we will still be quite happy to make the necessary repairs, but we reserve the right to make a fair charge.
• Any attempt to repair the equipment locally may at our discretion invalidate the warranty and result in a charge for the repair.
• If no fault is found with the equipment we reserve the right to charge at cost for its return to you. Please make sure that the `problem' is not with the test rig wiring, a faulty UUT etc. before returning equipment under warranty.
• Returned equipment must be accompanied by a detailed statement of the reported failure and telephone and e-mail details for a customer Point of Contact.
• The warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser. If the equipment has been sold or otherwise transferred to an entirely different organisation we reserve the right to reject warranty claims or charge for any necessary repair.

Subject to those conditions we will:

• Make the necessary repairs
• Retest the unit
• Ship it back to you DDU Incoterms 2000. We will endeavor to get it back to you as soon as possible consistent with reasonable shipping costs. (We reserve the right to charge for shipping if you stipulate a particular method.)
• Cover the unit with an equivalent warranty until 36 months from the date of first shipment to you or 12 months from the data of shipping the returned repaired unit, whichever is the later.
