If you have a fully documented
requirement, that's great. If you
haven't, and haven't time to make one,
we'll help. And the best bit is, usually
there's no charge.
Rapid Implementation
Test equipment usually seems to get
defined, and provisioned, at a fairly
late stage in the programme. This means
a very quick response with working
equipment. We do that.
Setting to Work
You're busy. You have other pressures on
you. You need to get your new test gear
to work as soon as possible. We'll be
there to help.
Total Support
Requirements change; the
unexpected happens. But there is an
expensive development programme relying
on lots of interacting components. We
know that ours is one of them. You need
support;
we give it.

Airflair's team have a lot of
experience of working in your domain,
testing complex systems in and around
real aircraft, ships and military
vehicles. So we understand that testing
needs go way beyond the functional
requirements and probably include:
Ease of Use
Our standard
ZEUS software package provides an
intuitive Windows based interface,
equally suited to novice or expert,
occasional or full time user. Other
software is equally user friendly.
No Limits
Your test gear shouldn't limit you to
bus loading, data quantities and so on
which are less than those permitted by
the specifications to which you are
working. Ours doesn't.
Data Export
Transferring data to other
systems is made easy by extensive use of
XML. In most cases importing this is
simple in the extreme. If you need
assistance, its readily available.
Robust
Interfaces
We can't promise to protect your
ARINC 429 transmitter against
inadvertent connection across a 115V
supply, but we do know that accidents
happen – and we design accordingly.
Portability
USB connection of our
standard
data bus test products (and most of
our custom systems too) means that they
are quickly and easily moved from one
place to another, with or without their
host PC. The standard products are all
bus powered too, so they're equally at
home in the lab or out and about on the
aircraft.
Time to do
Your Job
You may be
fascinated with the workings of your
test equipment; you may not. One thing
is pretty normal though: your focus is
on developing your system, not on
developing the test gear with which to
do that work. So, still keeping you very
much in the loop, we take as much of the
non-core work off you as possible by
taking on, or at lest getting you
started with, a whole range of things

We take the load when you (sort
of) know what you need, but haven't time
to write it down.
Setting to Work
If you're able to tell us in
detail what your trying to do, we'll
create some example software set-ups (ZEUS
calls them 'Packages') to get you
started – and sometimes to get you
finished too.
Data Analysis
As for the preparation of set-up
Packages, there are times when a simple
template to make a start on data export
and analysis can make the world of
difference to how long the process
takes. And, in the middle of a busy
trials schedule, that can be very
important. Just ask.
System Level
Investigations
From time to time you may come
across a system level problem which
needs some special `probing' to get to
the bottom of what's going on. Ask us to
help in putting our test equipment to
use in this; you get the more widespread
benefit of our experience – and another
pair of hands on the job too. |

Committed Ongoing Support
All our equipment
carries a 12 month return to
manufacturer warranty, but that's far
from the most important aspect of the
support we offer. We know that you may
need a bit of help using the test gear,
when you first get it and way into the
future. Indeed, in the future the
equipment may pass into the hands of
someone who's never met it before, and
who will therefore find a bit of a nudge
up the learning curve a huge help. And
the equipment itself may evolve,
especially where it's based on standard
modules. We want you to get the very
best from our products; this enhances
our reputation and is the cornerstone of
our future business. So we will:
Repair
We'll fix anything which fails.
Even after the warranty expires, you may
find us surprisingly willing to swallow
the cost of minor repairs (i.e. the ones
where processing the paperwork is more
work that doing the repair).
Loan
If we've got one available, and a
repair is going to take some time, we'll
provide a 'loaner' to keep you going.
Upgrade
For standard products we provide
minor software upgrades free of charge.
Bug fixes are available for download
from our website. For major software
upgrades, or anything requiring hardware
of firmware change there may be a modest
charge. Then again, there may not be.
